How United TravelBank cash works
TravelBank cash is simple to earn, save and use. You can watch your TravelBank cash add up in your account on united.com and use it whenever you like on United tickets purchased directly from the airline. Just visit united.com to use your TravelBank cash during the booking process. TravelBank cash can be used alone or combined with select forms of payment during the purchase.
No foreign transaction fees
You will pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card for purchases made outside the United States. For example, if you spend $5,000 internationally, you would avoid $150 in foreign transaction fees.
Travel & purchase coverage
Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver
Decline the rental company’s collision insurance and charge the entire rental cost to your Card. Coverage is provided for theft and collision damage for most cars in the U.S. and abroad. In the U.S., coverage is secondary to your personal insurance.
Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption Insurance
You can be reimbursed up to $1,500 per trip for your pre-paid, non-refundable passenger fares, if your trip is canceled or cut short by covered situations like sickness or injury.
Covers your new purchases for 120 days against damage or theft up to $500 per claim and $50,000 per account.
If a card purchase you made in the U.S. is advertised for less in print or online within 90 days, you can be reimbursed the difference up to $500 per item, $2,500 per year.
